The 2013 Warwick Stakes is run under open handicap conditions and is open to horses aged three-years-old and upwards.

Scheduled as part of Warwick Stakes Day, the race shares it’s program with the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes, Group 3 Up And Coming Stakes, Group 3 Toy Show Quality and Group 3 Show County Quality Handicap.

Sacred Falls is due to resume his Sydney Spring Racing Carnival campaign in the 2013 Warwick Stakes after a winter spell.

The rising four-year-old won his last  start in the Group 1 Doncaster Mile on a Heavy 10 track and will be looking to continue his success well into the spring carnival.

Trainer Chris Waller feels that Sacred Falls will be ready to begin his spring campaign after pleasing him in a recent trial over 795 metres at Warwick Farm on July 26.

“He had a nice quiet trial to help his fitness levels along and put him under a bit of pressure,” Waller said.

“Tommy Berry said he gave him a great feel and stretched out nicely.”

Sacred Falls has seven of his 10 race starts and has earned more than $1.6 million in prize money during his horse racing career.
